With apologies to Prince, it’s all about The New Power Generation
Address to the Detroit Economic Club
If you haven’t heard this address, delivered last year to the Detroit Economic Club on May 7, 2007, then you’d be doing yourself a favor to take the 12 plus minutes to check this out. It’s not necessarily the message Detroit - and Southeastern Michigan - wants to hear. But it is most definitely the message we need to hear. Yeah, I’m an Obama supporter. I’m confessin right out here on Front Street. But if you can’t see the logic of this message, you need to re-examine your logic.
No, it’s not revolutionary nor is this message brand new. But it’s on time and it’s necessary.
And isn’t it about time we did what was necessary around here?
